Hi all,
I am new to this software package and have a question. I have a Dazzle USB interface that is connecting my GE outside secure cam to my laptop. I am wondering if I am going to be able to use the yamcam software with this hardware? I so how can I get the software to recognize everything?
Thanks,
Tim

This is what i found in the
FAQ :
Q: Which webcams/video devices does Yawcam support?
A: Yawcam version 0.3.0 and above works with all DirectX compatible webcams and video capture devices. This means almost all modern usb webcams and TV-cards.
It is also possible to use a DV-camera together with Yawcam if you use an additional software like DVdriver or webcamDV.
I think you will see if the hardware is compatible.
If you mean by "
Dazzle USB interface" something like the
Video Creator, chances are that it is.
I have connected an old VHS Camera and made it work with such type of hardware.
See
this thread at my forum for details.
Thank You

Thanks tellmewhy. I did figure out that the iterface does work but the video is very choppy. I am trying to figure out that aspect but the everything is working. I am actually embarrased about how I got it to work.
It always helps to plug something in if you want it to work..LOL
