I am having some problems in getting the motion detection triggering just right.
The problem is the event(s) I am attempting to capture occur somewhat rarely, so it is hard to test in advance. It might be good if there was some sort of way to save/ftp/email what triggered the motion detection -- indicating the changed pixels (and % changed).
I envision it would be basically what the motion detection screen shows when the 'show image' is checked. The highlited changed pixels, the 'define area rectangle'. Perhaps the the tolerance and sensitivity values and the motion(%) could be shown as the text overlay.
For UI, I would add this option as a checkbox on the Motion Detection->Actions Tab
