Java Platform SE binary has stopped working

Post by Dj Reminis »

Hi...

I have come across a possible bug which I cannot get around.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing without success, including using administrative rights etc.

It seems as though this has only happened since I initiated Http because i had stopped and started the yawcam program several times before without any problems whilst just using the stream.
Now the program is totally unusable :roll:

The loading window appears but then gets stuck on "Loading GUI" and then a window pops up saying:-

"Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"

Please help, my detailed report is below, Many thanks in advance :D

Running:-

Windows 7 Ultimate (32bit)
Intel Core2Duo (P8400 @ 2.26GHz)
4GB Ram

Java = Version 6 / Update 24

YawCam = Version = 0.3.6

Do you have multiple users logged in on the machine?
Or are you using a remote management tool like RDP?

Hi...

Thanks for the reply, no - I am not using multiple users nor am i using remote management.

Does that help?

Cheers

Well, no it doesn't, but after I saw the other thread I knew it wasn't a configuration issue, it seems to be a problem with Yawcam itself.

The reason I am asking is because if you have multiple users logged in or you are using a remote management tool, java prevents you from opening Yawcam. Only the person who logged in to the computer first gets to use Yawcam. So I was wondering if this was your case, but clearly it's not.
