Picture Quality

Hello Group ,

Can anyone recomend a good USB camera for better image quality? I`m currently using Logitech Quick Cam Messenger cameras, and the quality is not good after several feet. But most cameras I see with higher megapixel ratings seem to depend on using the cameras extra software to get the higher resilution. Will this work with Yawcam?
