Wrong local IP is shown in settings

Post by Guest »

In the http, and stream settings, the computers IP address is shown. Since yesterday this address is wrong.

My computers IP is 192.168.x.x, but in the settings it states 0.1.0.4. Why? Since I'm behind a router I can't verify the stream output cause the 0.1.0.4/local.html doesn't exist and gets blocked in the router.

If I try the 192.168.x.x7local.html I get the "Err. Chk host! Usr online?" message.

Someone have a clue?

I take it your running Windows XP? so you most likely have got a video capture card in your computer as this would do it. I sometimes have an extra 'network' connection present. The connection is named "Microsoft TV/Video Connection" and has a connection speed of 30MBS, The IP address is always 0.1.0.something, and while it's there no bits are sent or recieved. Normaly this wouldnt be a problem but if yawcam is detcting this network connection over your real Network Interface Card you have a problem. Also need to be aware that Firewire ports could also be configured with IP address. Steve
