Yawcam

I've been using a Microsoft LifeCam with Yawcam for a couple of days and works fine sometimes. Every so often while in Yawcam motion detect mode, the LifeCam goes into a nonstop pulsing flicker frenzy causing the Yawcam to capture many still shots. The only way to stop the flickering to slightly move the LifeCam causing it to refocus on the image in view.

Seems to be an issue with the LifeCam its self but I wanted to ask if Yawcam has a way to override the focus, shading or lighting by creating a script to balance the image in view.
