capturing snapshots from H264 camera

Is there a way to (or any plans to) allow yawcam to use an IP H264 camera? I have a Ubiquity Aircam and would like yawcam to capture a picture from the camera every X minutes. (Unfortunately the Ubiquity does not have the ability to FTP a snapshot to a web site. That is the feature I'm trying to use in Yawcam.) One can access the Aircam H264 stream at the following url: rtsp://ipaddress:554/live/ch00_0
If yawcam supported rtsp input then I think it could do what is desired.
