Preview video not working.

I am using a Sony DCR-TRV730 with a IEEE link running Windows XP. The system sees the camera but the preview doesn't show what the camera sees. Any ideas work is going on?

I googled a bit to find out if your camera supports vfw (video for windows), but couldn't find anything about it... Please check your manual and see if you can find anything.

If your camera doesn't support vfw, it will not be working in Yawcam.

What do you mean with: "The system sees the camera" ?
Can you see your camera in the list of cameras in the camera settings in Yawcam?

I will be away during the weekend, so I probably can't answer more questions until monday...

Maybe it works if you use some "middleware", like:

Never used it, and don't know how it works though... And it is not freeware

But give it a try if your camera doesn't support vfw...
