WAP Question
Everything works fine in the new beta as far as I can tell. My question is with the wap feature. Can you explain in brief detail how I would go about setting up yawcam for my mobile. Do I stream or http? What url do I direct my mobile to? Any suggestions would be helpful. BTW your software ROCKS! Take care. And thanks for putting such hard work into this!
To view your webcam via wap you should enable Http.
Then click "Help -> What's my URL?" to see what address your http page has. Now point your wap browser to the same address but add "/wap.xhtml" at the end. The url will in other words be on the format:
http://public-address:port/wap.xhtml
This will give you page with a predefined image size of 107x80 pixels. You can adapt the size to fit your wap device's bandwidth or screen size by specifying the size of the image in the url like this:
http://public-address:port/wap.xhtml?w=160&h=120
The url above will the set the width of the image to 160 pixels and the height to 120 pixels.
