Member webcam list?
Member webcam list?
Is there currently a list of voluntarily supplied member webcam locations. A couple of ideas are: a sticky thread where you can post your webcam address; a profile category where users can post their webcam address
I have had thoughts and discussions about this before...
Basically it's a good idea, but it will generate a lot more work for me.
Best thing would be to create a page that uses the Announcement function in Yawcam so that the cameras only is listed when they are online. Then I or some moderators need to check the webcam list regularly to make sure that people don't add webcams with inappropriate content.
An easier approach would be as you suggested to have a thread or section in the forum where users can post their webcam addresses. This will need more moderation to keep the list updated with working links to webcams.
I'm not sure I can handle the extra work right now.
I also feel like I have to think about this some more before I make any decision on how to do...
