capturing stream

Post by Loverboyj »

This is a very good software, simple and easy to use.
I am not much of a techie but was able to set-up my web cam and stream easily.

One question that I would like to ask, Sorry if this was answered before.
How can we capture the stream?
I have setup some sort of survielance to our front yard on who is always walking on the front yard and damaging the grass. Everything is setup and I see the stream at work but how can I capture shot by shot?
I could right click on the window and save the pics as a file but that is very slow and will miss the next few frames.

Again, apologies if this has been asked, don't have much time in my hand at work to read all the posts.

Great software!!

Use the motion detection in Yawcam! Access it from the menu: "Window -> Motion detection"
This function is built for surveillance. :D

Yes, after playing around for a few days, I figured it out. Still learning to tweak the settings a bit. :)
