yet another "UPNP: could not find any UPNP devices!&quo

Post by scottyea »

Yawcam has been running perfectly for at least six months now, showing Mount Warning off to the world (www.murbah.com.au/webcam/) but XP crashed Sunday (maybe in sympathy with the sharemarket;) and needed to be reinstalled. Now I cannot get yawcam back up and running.....

All i see is...

UPNP: could not find any UPNP devices!

The modem is enabled for UPNP through firmware (Thompson Speedtouch 536v6)
XP is enabled for UPNP (through add/remove Windows progs)
NOD32 firewall is OK (windows\system32\javaw.exe & yawcam.exe are both allowed up & down)
& all the other antispyware stuff is now uninstalled.
The No-IP settings all seem OK
"Use UPNP to open ports on router." is checked in Yawcam
I installed Yawcam BETA 2007-03-18

but

UPNP: could not find any UPNP devices!
"Am I Online?" is error
I've looked through this forum, but no joy so far.

So, i get a local view of Mount Warning out my window, first place on the continent to see the sun, btw, but cannot get past the error message: "UPNP: could not find any UPNP devices!" to show it on the web!

It's been all day now and I'm bamboozled and disappointed. :?

Any  ideas  anyone?
