Okay, the problem is kind of fixed with the help of scrollbars in Yawcam 0.3.6. Download and give it a try ;) /malun Thanks! I still have a problem with the IP cam stream getting way out of sync with reality. My interim solution is to force a restart of Yawcam (running as a service under SBS 2003 S...

I was also thinking, you have to use an account to run your service as because you most likely don't have the permission to the shared drive using the System account. And you would need to ensure that the selected account used with the service also has all the relevant permission on the share too. ...

Suggestion: Service event log
Hi,
Would it be possible to write a start/stop event to the Windows Application even log when starting/stopping Yawcam using the service?

Curious building delay in video stream
Hi, I have a system running Yawcam 0.3.4>5 built: 2011-02-07 which is set to stream Javascript using an IP cam (Planet sxga mjpeg) as the source video, This works well however over a day the direct stream from the IP cam vs the stream from Yawcam can differ by as much as 5 minutes. I am not sure how...

Suggestion: video source fallback
Hi,
Would it be possible to implement a function where if the primary video source becomes unavailable (ie IP cam) then Yawcam automatically falls back to a second or third choice in the list of available devices?
Cheers,
Rob

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't aware of the problem to define an area if the screen is smaller than the video size. However I'm afraid this will not get a fix anytime soon since most users won't run into this problem. Fixing this will cost a bit to much time in relation to what it will give... B...

Enhancement Request - Motion Detect Define area
Hi, I'm just getting into Yawcam, great little piece of software thus far, thanks for your efforts. I have found a couple of issues, this one is a potential UI enhancement. It's impossible to use the UI to define the area for Motion detection when the screen that Yawcam is running has a lower resolu...
