Re: Yawcam doesn't start - Java problem

Just to say I have just reinstalled Yawcam 0.4.1 on Win 7 x64 and ran into this problem. If i tried to run Yawcam I would be faced with the "Open With" dialog and it asking me what program I wanted to run "javaw.exe" with. Java version is now 1.8.0_45 and i have both x32 and x64 ...

Do you have both HTTP and Stream enabled or just HTTP?

Latest YawCam, Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, d-eye 0.4

SUGGESTION: Custom video sizes

Hi, just something for the suggestions list. Currently, the stream settings allow you to pick from pre-defined video sizes (ie 640x480, 800x600 etc) and these seem to be controlled in the settings xml file by a reference number (640x480 is linked to size 4 i believe). My suggestion is the ability to...

Re: All settings reset to default - no idea why

Account is administrator and has been since day 1. I checked the home folder ad the settings file is there, modified yesterday and created yesterday too. It's like it never existed before yesterday I also checked the user profiles, there's no .001 profiles etc so it's not been caused by profile corr...

All settings reset to default - no idea why

So today, for no real reason, after a restart, all my Yawcam settings are gone; schedules were turned off and blank, all my filename settings/directories were set to default, and it was basically as if I'd just installed it. Any ideas why this happened? I can't find any errors, no unexpected shutdow...

Re: Yawcam BETA 2013-01-29

It will not get saved if you change the filename or path by hand. /malun That will be exactly it, my file path is: F:\AllSkyCam\DD-MM-YYYY\DD.mov I generally just change the DD digits by hand as I usually convert a few days footage at a time (this camera is an astronomical camera recording the nigh...

New Feature Suggestion - images to movie folder memory

Hi, Just wondering if it's possible to add folder memory or history to the images to movie file and folder selection? If I want to add the images, it always starts at "My Documents" and I have to browse to where they're located, then within the same window, I have to browse again to the sa...

Motion detection: Sensitivity & Tolerance query

I'm having a bit of trouble setting up the motion detection settings. My camera points at the sky and records the stars at night, this is done by 30s snapshots combined into a .mov file later on. Obviously sometimes meteors etc appear in the sky and I wish the motion detection to pick these up. So f...
