You must have enabled the "File" saving option. Go to "Settings>Edit Settings"
& in the "Startup" menu check if the option "Start File output" is enabled.

Hm, if you want to you use a fully password protected page, & not just yawcam's stream password, you have to find a host to register a domain. There are a lot that are free of course. That host should support PHP. After registration you can upload the index.php file I mentioned before & you ...

That message isn't related to the camera but to yawcam's ability to detect
your current IP. Are you connected to the internet? Have you allowed yawcam
in your firewall?

Hi again.
You must have missed my previous question. How do you "show" your streams?
Does the user have to go directly to your stream's address (http://yourip:8081)
or do you have your streams as (for example) iframes in your own page (let's say
http://mycams.com)?

You should use different ports. For example, if you have forwarded 8081 to
192.168.2.2 (your laptop) you should use & forward 8082 to 192.168.2.3
(your desktop).

Well, I haven't noticed anything "bad" when I leave them sum up to some hundreds. The only thing that you may not like is that those thumbnails in the events list are saved in a folder &, if you are paranoid enough, you may worry for disk fragmentation or reaching the max limit of file...

Yes, that sets the quality to 100% which, for some unknown reason, is missing from yawcam's menu. I have already tried it at your stream & the image has been significantly improved & the text overlay has been cleared. I just wanted you to check it too before we try to fix it. But since you d...

Well, when you are at your stream's page enter this

Code: Select all

javascript:setQ(100);cTO();
in the address bar & hit Enter. Then, if that is what your stream used to
look like, I'll tell you how to fix it permanently.

After you have checked the "Attach Image" box, & while the focus is still on it,
press the Tab button 11 times & the focus will be on "OK" button. Press space
& you are done.

I have ( almost ) no idea what you are talking about! :P What do you mean "directly save images"? Can this be done "indirectly" too? "Results in overlay of images", did you mean that the new image overwrites the previous one? If so, post the format of the filename you a...

I don't know about the android app. I have tested 4-5 of them & only one worked for me. But still, it wasn't displaying my stream properly so eventually I had to built my own one. For now, until you are sure that your stream works, you better test it with computer's browser to be sure. Another t...

You should ask someone outside your LAN to check it for you, as you can't
view it yourself at http://yourexternalip:8081. It's like you are trying to
call yourself on the phone. (Or you can try viewing it through a proxy...)
