Re: Motion Detection and 5 second video?

Not directly, however, you can set the Motion Detection to save 50 pictures with a 100ms interval.

Then when you have some spare time, use the ""images to movie" function and select the 50 pictures, set it to 10fps and save the movie.

Re: Yawcam launch error

Can you try the same thing from both a 32-bit command prompt and a 64-bit command prompt?

Did you install both 32 and 64 bit java?

Re: How to get Format Control settings to stick

Try installing the Logitech drivers for your webcam if you haven't done so already. If you have, check whether they are the latest version or not.

Re: Possible to add the stream adress to the Alert email?

I'll add it to the suggestions list for Malun to review. So to make sure I understand, you want to be able to modify the text sent from the Yawcam Motion Detection Email and be able to include a variable in the text such as the external IP address, let's say {ExternalIP} and perhaps the link back to...

Re: yawcam and Windows 10

Yes, I finally had a chance to test Yawcam on Windows 10 and can confirm that it works with no issues. In my case, I performed a clean install of Windows 10, then installed Java followed by Yawcam. No issues and everything worked perfectly. For those of you who upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 ...

Re: yawcam and Windows 10

bduren, can you post which version of Java you are using and the value of the path variable you have?

You can get the path variable by using the command "echo %path%" at the command prompt.

Re: Windows 8.1 YAWCam Crashes When Loading Camera

Try uninstalling the drivers (if any), reinstall latest drivers (from logitech's website), restart your computer then run Yawcam as and administrator.

Re: Windows 8.1 YAWCam Crashes When Loading Camera

Looks like you are getting an access violation. Try running Yawcam as an administrator, that fixed that problem for me before.

Re: Yawcam 0.4.2 RELEASED!

You should open a new thread to discuss this. Make sure you include every details of the error or the point at which it crashes. For example, if you see the Yawcam splash screen, if you see an error message, make sure you mention it. Also try to run the debug batch file and post what it returns as w...

Re: Yawcam 0.4.2 RELEASED!

Malun, perhaps the way to go in the future is to include the JRE in yawcam's installation, this way Yawcam always finds it and it keeps your user's systems safe as they wouldn't need to have Java installed globally on their computer. This is what Microsoft recently did with Minecraft so users can fi...

Re: Run .exe not working when Yawcam is running as service

This is baffling me, I'll have to upgrade a PC to Windows 10 to try it out.

Which version of .Net Framework do you have installed?

Can you try recompiling the launcher with another exe you have on your system instead of regedit.exe?

Re: Run .exe not working when Yawcam is running as service

Can you open a command prompt and try the command "Query Session"? The script is hardcoded to session 1, so I'm wondering if you have anything else? You should see 2 sessions, one of them will be "services" which should have ID 0, which is the session the services including Yawca...

Re: Run .exe not working when Yawcam is running as service

Ok, so I see in the logs that Launch_Regedit.exe executes, it gets to the point where it searches for C:\windows\regedit.exe then crashes, but I don't know why.

Can you check in Event Viewer for logs from "Interactive Launcher" under Application and see if you have an error message there?

Re: Run .exe not working when Yawcam is running as service

You are correct, that compiled exe will only work when running as a service. So the command you set to run didn't run when it launched? Can you try to capture the logs with Process Monitor to see if the compiled exe launches and see if it tries to launch your command? You may have to remove some fil...
