Bit late response but better late than never!
I've still got 3 versions of the D-Eye gadget on my PC but I admit I haven't used any of them for a while here they are & hope they work:

Unfortunately none of the versions want to work :/
Http works fine on a browser but the gadget just taunts me with the Eye of Sauron lol

Do you have both HTTP and Stream enabled or just HTTP?

I'm running both
Latest YawCam, Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, d-eye 0.4

I used to use only HTTP, but testing with both http and stream activated, D-eye still working in http only. Good enough for me.

configs :
URL= http://192.168.x.xxx
Port = 8888
Interval = 1
