Video Capture?

Sorry if this has been discussed, my search failed to find anything about it.

It seems like Yawcam does not actually capture video. Is there no way to save a video instead of images when a motion detection occurs? It seems like an odd omission. I know there is a movie maker from still images bit that seems like a clunky solution.

If not, might I ask what the thinking was behind leaving it out? Too hard to do?

Thank you!

This was discussed in other threads, I haven't searched for them, but I know they are there somewhere, I read them, but since this request is not yet on the suggestion list, I will add it and Malun will review the request.

I'd like to add to the suggestion of Video Capture not only be possible to video capture on motion, but also on schedule, on startup, or manually by a future WebGUI.

Saving as a video file is already on the todo-list.
And I agree that this is a function that should have been added long time ago. It's hard to get enough time ;)

Video capture for motion detection is now implemented in Yawcam 0.5.0. Finally :-)
