I'm Looking for a Simple IP Cam Program that does not require my computer to be on at the site that has the IP Cam. I have 2 wifi IP cams that I would like to access remotely while I'm on vacation, and be notified via email or sms that an event has taken place. I want this without have to be running software on my computer at home while on vacation. In the past week I've test over a dozen programs. Not happy with any of them. I do like the D-Link Website that supports their cams but it doesn't support my non dlink cam.
Any advice?

Without a computer, the only features you'll have are those that your camera provides. You can't run software without a computer running.

As stated, you need a PC in order to get your non-Dlink IPcam to do what you want...
If you really don't want/have a PC, you can try the following options to make a webcam with an old smartphone:

Same can be done with an iPhone, just Google...
