@GreyOwl:

Have you had any luck getting Yawcam running again?

If you still have problems you could start Yawcam in debug mode. That will create a log file that might help us figure out what's going wrong.
More info on how to start in debug mode here:

Hey,

When I set my acquisition interval in "Edit Settings..." menu to 60 seconds and I use releasecamera.txt hack with "File" enabled I notice a strange thing:

There is a time difference or delay between the actual saved image and reality.
To be clear: what I am doing in front of the camera and what I see me doing in the image sequence is not in sync. What I am doing at the moment of acquisition and what I see on the saved picture afterwords is ~ 1 or 2 minutes in the past...it looks like the acquired picture stays in memory and gets saved at the next round of acquisition.

I hope the message got through! :)

Does anyone else have the same issue or is it only my foolishness?

Can someone try it please by setting up the same parameters and just keep their hands in front of the camera in one position watching current time for the first acquisition and after end of acquisition change to another position and hold still till the next round and see what I meant?

many thx!

Strange. I don't get this behavior...

Please make sure that the option:
"Settings -> Edit Settings... -> Startup -> Enable device error monitor"
is enabled.

That might help.
