Hi guys,
Just wondered if i could ask you for a little help?
In my bedroom I got Yawcam setup to my WAN IP so it can be viewed outside the house remotely. Using stream not http. Not crazy on http because of the constant refresh.
I'm not sure if this would be possible but I would like also the same setup in my living room also going through 'stream' Problem is though the internal IP's are different. This one is 192.168.1.3 the other one is 192.168.1.2. It seems I cannot assign the port 8081 to both those because when I try it says it is in use on the router.
Can someone help suggest a way round this issue? I wondered maybe a DHCP host online? Or having another port for the lounge other than 8081 which i'm not sure is even possible?
So ideally I would like to view both living room and bedroom remotely using the stream option.
Thank you.
Would like Yawcam to work on 2 machines, possible?
Re: Would like Yawcam to work on 2 machines, possible?
use port 8082 on the second machines yawcam setting.
(and if you add more just increment by 1 for each)
Suggest also you set a static IP on each machine (computer network setting)
They cannot be the same. I use 11 for the last digits of the first machine, with port 8081) and increment
1 (12) for the machine with 8082 - etc.
I've had, at times, 3 or more on my LAN.
BTW: your Public IP (via internet) would be your routers address:808x
replace x with 1,2,3 etc.
