First of all - I am new user of Yawcam.
0.2.6 did do basic stuff - but did it well - 0.30 is more versatile and device control is one of these needed functions.
Keep on rock'ing - and doing your good work. Thank You - very many times.
When not knowing much of programming and software development stuff, I wonder - would it be possible to convert Yawcam to Linux OS?
Java platform -> Linux?
Thanks.
Yes it should be possible but (as you can read in the FAQ ), it feels like I have to focus on the Windows version for now.
I don't feel that the amount of work needed to support more platforms is worth it, since there is not so many users that actually would use these versions for other platforms...
Also, the windows version that exists now needs more work and time. That's why I have to make it priority one.

I do understand.Also, the windows version that exists now needs more work and time. That's why I have to make it priority one.
Windows is de-facto standard - nearly everybody has one..
Other problem is different Linux distributions - not easy.
But OS is stable (and I do not mean evolution, withc is going so fast - that there is second Linux problem).
