Hi Malun,
Is it possible to make your software working under Linux?
And look at that: http://telecharger.01net.com/windows/Mu ... 29492.html
I submitted it to telecharger.com ... it's very cool, you'll have lots of download ...
Linux
Wow, great! Thanks a bunch!
I'm sorry to say that I don't have the time to fix a linux version right now.

No need - equivalent linux program exists
There is an equivalent linux program that does all that yawcam does and also has some modules that make it useful for professional streaming... it's called camsource, and it's quite simple, though it has a LOT of options and so may be confusing at times. No GUI though, it is configured with a config file. It has ftp uploading, streaming in multiple sizes, file saving, http server, and it works with several viewer applets. I use it for the same purposes as most people here use yawcam. It should be easy to hack together a preview window and config interface that looks similar to yawcam. I might even have time to do it (also a java person) eventually, later this year. But using the config file is very well documented and the browser can be used as a preview window...
